17-19 really? I can barely hit 13 with ours... guess I really need to change that fuel filter...

Though we do have the HO version which has 206 cams from the factory...

The HO isn't going to make your fuel mileage that worse. You should be getting north of 15mpg unless you drive with your foot on the floor all the time.
If not the check your plugs, air filter, O2 sensors (I would just change them) all your other engine sensors.

Lots of good info on this site: http://www.wjjeeps.com/jmenu.htm

Check to make sure the special spark plugs that are suppose to be used are installed. Unique platinum-tipped
spark plugs

Type: RC7PYCB4
0.040 in. gap

HO ENGINE CAUTIONS:
Do not substitute any other spark plugon the 4.7L H.O. engine. Serious engine damage may occur.
Never clean spark plugs on the 4.7L H.O. engine. Damage to the platinum rivet will result.
Do not use a wire-type gapping tool for the same reason. Use a tapered-type gauge.
To prevent possible pre-ignition and/or mechanical engine damage, the correct type/heat range/number spark plug must be used.

Just some stuff I took off that site.

Wjjeeps is an excellent site! Been on it quite a few times..

On that note, tune up is in the process. I buy a little at a time as I can afford it. o2 sensors are over 200 even buying thru rock auto..

Plugs I may get this week, air filter is brand new. Put a k&n fipk cai on it not long after we bought it. It also has a 3" exhaust that I bought from kolak.

So I dont have much left to do.. just 4 o2s 8 plugs, and the fuel filter...
