I'm back bitches!

So some strangeness with the truck this morning, yesterday I bypassed the heater core, today I went out and got the valve stem replaced, and went to a customers house and after I turned the truck off it started smoking and smelling of anti-freeze, noticed the coolant hose was leaking where the 2 meet, and did not use the AC on that trip.

Went back on my way, with the AC on, got home, turned truck off and no leaking...

Weird, never had that happen before....

No work for me today due to a foot of snow that just fell up here in the high country. Had 3 Dos Equies left and a Sam Adam boston lager. I'm deffinatly a Lager type of guy, but I enjoy a nice IPA or 90 Shillings with dinner from time to time.

I love the winter weather here, but its starting to wear on me now that its affecting my summer job hours. I did however go boarding on a fresh foot of snow on the pass yesterday! "may snow showers bring...... june flowers? and maybe no fire ban this summer?" Goin to drink it blue this afternoon I hope

I wish it were here. I've been talking to my dad in NC, maybe it's time for a little spring getaway

If you CAN get away......

Warm and humid today, with some REALLY active thunderstorms. Light show was awesome. Wife was unimpressed though, she left her window in the van down.

Saw some of the news articles on the storm. Holy smokes. Isn't a bit late in the season for that kind of behavior?

I've gone boardin in 2ft of fresh snow late may up here in previous years, so it's to be expected this time of the year. You can really only cross your fingers it will be nice and sunny.

We get some AWESOME lightning shows here being at 9,000ft and all, I have a nice view of the continental divide out my back porch. It can sometime feel surreal watching the storms build and then dump over into the Denver area
