In other news, I fell off a ladder while hanging drywall in the garage. My left forearm smarts like no tomorrow and I may go see the doctor as I'm thinking mild fracture.
Yeah, going in sure won't hurt you..... Better to go in for 'nothing', than not go in for 'something'.

Yeah, been a MUCH milder summer here.... not as much rain as last year though. I haven't mowed the yard for two weeks, and it still doesn't need it.

Went to the urgent care clinic and got some x-rays. Just swelling and no breaks or visible fractures. Left with an Ace bandage and a sling. I have to take it easy, which I am not good at.

Am treating the pain with Lunazul Blanco tequila.

I broke my thumb once. well for the first time. Thought I just jammed it as I could move it around pretty well. And I have a high tolerance for pain.

It healed weeks later and I was feeling it and it had healed backs on the shape of a shalllow c.

Got xrays. Doc said it would fill in the space with extra bone and I would never break It again.

I haven't.

But I did shatter the joint playing football. I had a broken foot that year too. I had it for a month or two and it had developed from a stress fracture. We think. It was my navicular bone. Which never shows up on xray. When I finally could barely limp anywhere we got an mri and then it was obvious.

That was a bad year

Oops lol

There is supposed to be the largest looking full moon in a long while tonight but we got enough clouds that I can not see it. Also the Perseids meteor shower is supposed to be starting along about now.

I did see an almost full moon last night and a few burning rocks, nothing like it should be Tuesday though.

I started watching the meteor shower back in high school, most of my class mates thought I was nuts to go let skeeters eat me while watching rocks burn in the atmosphere. When I was older I would take beer along and go to the Thornapple dam and watch them. It was real relaxing to lay there in my reclining beach chair sippin a cold one watching them burn.

After I became a amateur radio operator I tried to work meteor scatter. As the rocks burn they cause a plasma streak that you can bounce a signal off of to work folks you might not otherwise be able to hit with your signal.

At least for me it's more fun to just sit under the stars and watch them though.

Holy Crap!!

Robin Williams Found Dead in Possible Suicide

I remember when he first appeared as Mork on an episode of Happy Days, which was about two years before Mork and Mindy ran. He and Bobcat Goldwaith were good friends, and Bobcat has been doing a lot of Indie film production/writing/directing and was able to get Williams to star in his film World's Greatest Dad. A great film if anyone is a fan of either actor.

Wow. Now there is a major surprise. And a major bummer as well. Another comedian that died way to soon. And likely suicide at that.

It's a clean truck, but this guy is nuts with his asking price.

Definitely a nice truck, but not worth that price even if it was a Cummins.

Dude is smoking some wacky weed!
