I'll probably just re-use the worm gear clamps cause I want to get the S10 back on the road ASAP since I am trying to minimize driving the ram until I get a chance to pull the trans out of it and figure out WTF happened with it's clutch. My guess is one of the springs broke and shot out the bell housing (there is literally a hole through the bell housing and she chatters now when depressed which is usually normal for a dual disc clutch but mine never did it till the mishap that put a hole in the bell housing) Thanks for the offer though I should be able to pull the trans out of the Ram next week to see what happened with it.

 

In true WTF fashion:

 

Be careful not to over-torque those worm drive clamps. That's why they suck on newer, plastic radiators. Too much torque and the neck cracks leading to leak problems.
