also thinking about getting cutouts would like to know pros an cons of electric and manual don't way the ones that you unbolt lol thank y'all.

I've never bought a "cat" for anything. Can't help there.

Mechanical cutouts of any kind will last less than a year before they are seized up, and useless. (not to mention that in many places, they are also illegal. If you have inspections where you are, you more than likely will not pass.)

If you don't have emissions testing/inspection, I would skip cats altogether.

Everything else sounds pretty good.

i would run no cats or gutted but I'm concerned with it stinking more on the other hand i don't really know how much of a difference the cats will make i currently run a stock cat with a short fat glass pack i got at muffler shop an it has a a 3 or 4in rolled tip in front the passenger rear tire an it already can be stinky when you cold start

Your truck stinks? Lol.
Ok.
I can't say I've ever had a stinky vehicle.
Please explain.

lol i don't mean stinky like a butt hole ill say it like this my truck smells like a modern old school if that makes sense an its not that i mind it my wife an kids might not enjoy it

So your exhaust smells like exhaust and not flowers is what your saying and your wife and kids dont like your carbon footprint truck because its not electric so you want it to have a pretty exhaust smell so your wife lets you keep it.

The way your truck smells while it's cold is the way it would smell all the time with no cat. And a little worse. Cat doesn't do much of anything till it warms up. Which doesn't take too long.
