Just for clarification are you talking about driving home with NO exhaust what so ever? Or driving home with long tubes on and nothing after that?

I've heard the same thing about burnt valves, don't know if it's true.

Plenty of truth to that, valves need a little back pressure. But just driving a short distance won't do any harm.

Open headers will be fine, and won't cause any problems, no matter how long you drive it that way.

NO manifolds at all though, will burn valves in pretty short order.

I already own headmen long tube headers the rest of the system is going to be high flow cats a x pipe and the two flow master that was donated and i plan on using 2.5in pipe. would like feed back on this setup also would like to know of a good cat thinking about goin with magna flow but i don't know this is my first exhaust system other than just a muffler. any input is much appreciated.
