Default Play in Gas Pedal

My truck has 190,000 miles. Noticed that my gas pedal seems to have a fair amount of play in it. Do throttle cables stretch over time? How much play does your gas pedal have?

The 99 has a pretty sudden response, However the 97 seems to have a fractional delay (could be a fluke), but I pay it no mind. K.

Yes the cable can and does stretch. There are two ways to fix it. 1) Replace the cable. 2) Do the zip tie "mod", found here: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...p-tie-mod.html

I would deal with it or replace the cable personally.
