a few questions about my 95
Instead of making several posts I'm just putting it all into one post so here goes...
Truck Info:
Year: 1995
Engine: Stock 5.2 V8 Magnum
Tranny: Automatic
218,XXX miles
2wd std cab
1. My temp gauge has never worked its in the cold, how can I fix this?
2. My speedometer has been working when it wants to, any ideas?
3. I've been recommended the G Force Performance chip to gain horsepower and better mpg does this really work?
4. I've been considering a cold air intake but haven't gotten one yet whats the advantages/disadvantages if any as to having one?
5. Was told when got my tires that my idler arm & pitman arm needed replacing before it could be aligned, how hard is this?
I'm open to any advice, thanks for taking time to read my post and have a great day!!

Welcome to the forum!
For Question #1, I'd check the temp sensor on the intake manifold close to the thermostat. I believe that's the proper sensor. I may get corrected though.
Don't know how to answer question #2.
Since your truck is OBDI, I don't know. Mine's OBDII. 1 thing that I would do is check the plenum gasket. Take your air filter housing off, open up your throttle body and look in the intake with a flashlight. If you have oil pooling up, then you need to replace that gasket. It's a common issue with these trucks and it bogs down performance.
You don't want a cold air intake on your truck, the stock intake is just as good. Maybe you could just use a K&N drop in air filter.

1. Check the sensor. It is to the passenger side of the thermostat housing. One wire connector.
2. Good question, could be many things..... anything from a bad cluster, to a failing VSS.
3. Snake oil. Don't waste your money. Advertising claims for these should be regarded as illegal. They are flat out lies. How they get away with it, is beyond me.
4. CAI is pretty much worthless on our trucks. You would be better off spending the money on a good air filter. 99% of the CAI systems draw air from the EXACT same place as stock.
