Default anyone here bought a truck from John the diesel man?

for those of you who dont know who john the diesel man is, he's a salesman of use dodge diesel trucks primarily 2nd gen 12 and 24 valve cummins, 5 and 6 speed and sells them with 30 day drive train warranty and 6 month parts warranty, only thing he does not warranty is the ac system. he buys clean rust free trucks and fixes them up to near brand new condition. he has a youtube other social media. his trucks are super clean and i cant help but look at them and want to buy one.

so this post is to anyone who has delt with him, bought a truck from him and can tell me about your buying experience as well as tell me if the truck has held up.

Thanks

He's from NY, right? If you're looking to pay a premium price for a truck cobbled together from other trucks with hidden issues. He's the man. Occasionally someone gets a decent truck but most people are sorry they dealt with him. I stopped by his place when I was in NY a couple years back, I couldn't leave fast enough.

The trucks are out there but you have to be patient to find the good ones. It's okay to pay a premium price for a premium truck. Just be sure it's the right truck. Most of those types of dealers play fast and loose with the truth. Just look at some of diesel dans youtube videos. The comments are always disabled. Gotta be a reason for that, and it's not because he's tired of hearing how awesome he is.

If it sounds too good to be true, then it is.

If you want a rust free diesel that's not torn up, then search for trucks in the Southwest (Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and even Kansas).

E-Bay or Auto Trader and use an escrow. Money spent is money saved.
