Yes we have salt but my plan for now is not to drive it in the winter because of the 2wd and the truck has no rust, I would think the running board would help prevent rust issue but maybe with this style its a place to collect?

I live in the salt belt, have no running boards, and, I don't have rockers either...... I think that problem is more with the truck itself, than with anything bolted underneath it.

 

any suggestion on a 2wd level/lift kit? and because I am a novice on tires what would be a good looking tire but keeping the size approx. stock because the gear ratio

 

coils on the front or no? i cant remember on the v10 2wd..as far as a tire to think about, its pointless to go M/T on a 2wd, so get a meaty A/T , i always liked the look of goodyear duratracs, u can find them at wal-mart too.

 

You could get away with 33s on that. if you lifted it.

 

Yes they do have a coil front..and has a 2.25 inch difference front to rear...the new Firestones are 30" but a 33" maybe a bit to tall considering I have a 3.55 and will be towing on occasion 10000lb trailer..

 

Not sure how the v10 sounds but i put a cherrybomb glasspack on my 5.2 and love the sound.

 

I think you have enough torque to deal with 33's, and 3.55 gears, with that monster 8 liter engine.
