Little Do-dads to help my truck
I just purchased my first V10 actual 68000 miles stock exhaust, from a 78 year old lady who purchased it new it is a 2wd
but the problem came when I went to show my 2 daughters 14/16 years old well they were expecting a nice 4wd lifted truck, there first words were EWWW! and thats really a long truck and I am not driving that to school..lol
they know why I bought this truck (Im broke lol) to pull their fancy junior dragsters around.. so I am just curious on some low budget add-ons to help get rid of the EWWW, for sure I need to buy folding tow mirrors and roll-up tonneau cover, and need help choosing a muffler that might help get rid of the whisper mode exhaust

just trying to have fun with this post and maybe in wrong forum
thanks

As posted tires, rim's, brushguard, LED light bar, tint some of the windows, leave the running boards and mudflaps as the help protect the body but paint them some colour. Ditch the chrome grill and bumper and go colour to match the body.
Tool box, CB wips, leveling kit, rims/tires, brush guard/bumper, roll bar, and window tint. I suggest leaving the running boards on or changing them for a different style because even with me being 6'4", I still have some trouble getting in and reaching for things in the bed.
Nice V10, (with a garage)! You might check your wiring hookups for your trailer, (brakes and lights). Also, if you haul anything heavier than junior dragsters, how about a brake controller. Nice truck! K.

Geez i was gone for the day, nice to see some great responses!!
first question: leveling kit for a 2wd I have searched and seen little or none..help with that please remember the budget lol
second: I would love to change the tires, but the Firestones are 2 weeks old but I could try and sell them to offset new ones, the only concern is the 3.54 rear gear and pulling a 28' trailer dont want to go to much taller maybe something with more width???
window tint great idea!
paint grille and bumper wouldn't that be to much green?
Its all set up with brake controller, she used the truck to pull horses, it has the pin in the box that collapses
these are awesome ideas leveling/lift kit and tires great start just need some direction
thanks again!

black to the son of gun out!
exhuast??? not too sure how the V10 sounds.
4.10s would be a nice upgrade. especially if you go to bigger tires.
I think tires that just stick out really wide llook stupid. silly people and their wheel spacers.

I see that you're in Minnesota, so do they salt the heck out of the streets up there? If so, I might lose the running boards. I'm from Nebraska and my 95 Cummins had running boards and now my rockers and cab corners are pretty far gone with rust. That's my two cents.
