Muffler question

Default Muffler question

My 1996 Dodge has original exhaust and the catalytic converter's are Siamese right before the muffler do they make it aftermarket muffler that is a direct replacement to stock or do they have to reconfigure the catalytic converter's

Muffler is further back on the exhaust, so, which cat you have, doesn't matter. If you want to replace the cat though, Magna-flo makes a direct, bolt-on replacement.

So what it be dual catalytic converter is that magna flow offers or would it be a single going into a muffler I will check out their website though thank you

Dual inlet, single outlet. The stock style. They have others.... for a price....

Oh, V-10...... Not sure what your exhaust looks like....

the catalytic converters seem to be OK unless going aftermarket maybe better??

like the sound of this muffler from srt10 ram 1500 wonder if I could make it work or just by the muffler

Default V10 exhaust

Well. This is what i did and it sounds awesome. Installed the mopar performance header kit with pipes to cats. Installed magnaflow highflow cats 3 inch in and 3 inch out, magnaflow mufflers right after cats(about 6 inches back). 3 inch pipes angled right out before right rear tire. Some hanger adjustments required. Stainless bolt on tips added. Looks and sounds great. Just a suggestion.

You'll have to put an audio clip on YouTube or something like that I'd love to hear it
