I have the dual pistons up front with new premium ceramic pads and rotors. Ashamedly havent looked at the rears yet.

 

My 01 is completely stock. Napa gold pads in the front, stock dual piston calipers. The rear has never been touched since I've owned it the last 10 years. Tried to pull the drums off a couple times but they were being difficult, so I wait till they make some noise. They do like to completely lock up on the first light tap in the morning, but after that they're fine.

 

Sounds like my truck beeker. Took forever but I finally got my drums off. Sadly I couldn't leave mine. One of my wheel cylinders didn't want to work.

 

Finally did my fronts. Wagner severe duty MX859 pads with new rotors. Wagner severe duty pads SX702 on the rear with the factory discs. I tow from time to time and I'm very happy with the way it stops.
