This link happened in my mailbox with a note from Rock Auto: How to drive a Model T Ford.

I think the guy in the Allis video gives sound advice. Especially when he points out someone encouraged a small child to get behind it and push the crank. My dad (born 1923) explained to my brothers and me, at an auto museum, proper methods of hand cranking a car and how he'd seen guys get smacked in the shin (or even a broken leg) from standing incorrectly.

I think it'd be nice for Texas to literally be a whole other country. They don't seem to like the United States all that much anyway.

Once upon a time I worked with one of those Republic Of Texas weenies who thought it important to load me up with their propaganda. I finally told him that the only reason I supported Texas secession was to keep my outlaws (former in-laws) with outstanding arrest warrants from getting visitor visas to enter the United States. I didn't mind that he stopped talking to me after that.

I saw this video on youtube, there are 6 videos all together. Guy builds a forced induction 5.9 Magnum engine and keeps the kegger, but mods it. Pretty crazy...

In video #5, it looks like he has RTV on his head gaskets, last time I did a head gasket, I used 0 RTV, does RTV belong on a head gasket? I used the FelPro Permatorque gasket...

Oops, might help if I include the link...

There is some nifty-neato spray-on goop that helps head gaskets seal on less than perfect surfaces. I never bother with it.

I watched the unveiling of the Tesla Model 3 the other evening. I was sorely tempted to be ready to plunk down a $1,000 deposit and get my name on the list before I even saw the vehicle. I would still like to; however, I would prefer a hatchback version of an electric daily driver. Pre-orders are closing in on 200,000 worldwide.

So last Friday it was a truly beautiful day, since it was so nice out I decided to finally put the hitch on the GT, this is what else I did,...

You can barely see the red spot near the middle of my forehead. Yes, I hit myself in the head with the hitch.

all better you can barely see the scuff mark now,...
