Explosions under investigation in Panaca
Being on search and rescue, this made for a long day/ night. I've been starting work at 2 am most of the week, then was on traffic control on this until after 10 pm.
Thankfully the family got out before it blew up, and the only serious injury was the idiot setting off the bombs. One young kid has a comma shaped bruise on his collar bone from a piece of shrapnel. He was one block over from this.
I found several pencil sized and shaped pieces of shrapnel close to a quarter mile away, with a few larger pieces (4 inch to football sized) out to about a half mile. Scary ****.

The "story" is, the guy placing the bombs was getting even with an ex boss for firing him. The bomber was stealing narcotics from the local hospital where he worked, and the recipient found out and canned him... and made it so the bomber couldn't receive unemployment benifits.
That's all third party stories though, so I'm not sure how much truth there is. This area draws some strange people to it sometimes.

Once again, having the right tool for the job makes life much easier.
Last Saturday's activity.
Today, I was by myself and, as usual, I kicked some ***.
