Default Exhaust flexpipe question

Do our trucks in any model have a flex pipe?

Is it or could it be beneficial to weld one in?

On the way home from work my exhaust broke a qrt inch after the cat. I don't have a full exhaust just a foot long pipe after the cat that goes to a magna flow.
There's the one mount by the tranny that holds this up.
I'm wondering if the vibration or movement from the throw bearing engaging and disengaging caused it to break there. So should I add a flex pipe in the spot it broke. So it doesn't brake somewhere higher like by the manifold.
Or maybe the muffler (regardless of the hanger on the tranny sub frame) was to heavy and caused it to bounce around and break. In which case I should weld in a new hanger back by the muffler

I'm not aware of flex ever being used in these, but all that means is that I'm not aware of it.

My vote is for getting a hanger in there. Too few hangers means too many breakages.

That's where mine broke too. I just welded it back up. Several years later, it broke somewhere else.... Rusted out. Time for all new.
