Hi i have 96 ram 2500 5.9ltr gas i just finished swapping a nv4500 from a 1992 dodge w150 5.9ltr and there is no holes to bolt the t case shifter i am wondering if i can install a 98 or newer tcase shifter where it doesnt bolt to the tranny?
Another problem you are going to run into is, the 98 and up t-case isn't going to have a provision for the VSS on the output shaft.... which means, no speedo.....
The original t case is in the truck i just cant shift it into 4x4 bcuz the there is no lever cuz the 97 shift lever does not bolt up to the tranny bcuz theres no holes for it
