Default Spicer U joint part #?

Hello everyone,

It has been a while since I sold my old '04 Ram and recently got a 2000 Ram 2500 5.9 gas. I am currently trying to find an u joint to replace an unit that failed. I am trying to find an u joint that fits on front of drive shaft (front driveshaft) into front differential. I went to Oreilly's and Autozone. Both stores gave me wrong U joints.

What is the correct part number for Spicer U joint? I know my U joint had 2 clips that clamps into bearing cap.

Short story on the truck; The truck has been sitting for 3-4 years straight. I had to do some tinkering to get it started and it idled smoothly with fresh gas. It did need typical brake lines replaced. Transmission shifts great. Transfer case works well in low and high. Other than work, the truck drives well and sounds great with broken muffler.

I did get spicer u joint. I had a team member to take out all spicers out of the shelfs and fit each item until one fit. I finally found one that fitted properly. Now, I have to try to drill out a sheared bolt out of yoke before I mount new caps on.

I found it was easier to just replace the yoke....... I fought with it for a while, then gave up.

5-3226x has the needle greaser in the end of a cap so you can actually grease them once they are installed. They fit the square body Chevy's also.
