Why bother with stock radios, You will get better sound/performance and features with an aftermarket unit. As long as you don't have the amps at the speakers you can just get a wiring adapter and plate to fit the dash and it's a bolt in deal that can be brought back to stock if you like. I have a ton of MP3's on mine and love it.

I have found that replacing the stock speakers actually makes even the stock head unit sound better...... of course, installing a head unit that has the features you want is never a bad plan either.

when I show the truck its in the stock class and an aftermarket radio is a deduction which can make a big difference add to that my bad ears and the stock infinity is
more than enough sound for me..

Because loser meth heads will exact $2000 worth of damage to rip the $100 aftermarket unit out of your dash so they can get one more fix. Stock is fine.

Actually mine has a removable face and is code protected, So even if they steel it they cant use it. It's nothing fancy and cost less than $200. Use some common sense when parking in questionable area's. Park near light (at night) or lots of people traffic during the day. Don't leave stuff out visible that they might want to steel. Even if you don't have an alarm you can put one of those blinking light's in the dash that will make a thief think twice. If they want to break in they will but don't make it any easier for them. But i can understand the point when showing the truck.

Hahaha, you definitely don't live where I do! Only way to avoid theft is to not have a vehicle. Good luck with that!

radio works as it should and well worth the money for anyone looking for stock radio that has been gone over and had
the 3.5MM aux jack installed.. love these trucks for their ease of installation.. took a whole 20 minutes start to finish..

replace the rear shocks hopefully today and truck will be done again, left rear shock was damaged in accident BUT OF COURSE I have to eat
the cost of replacement for yet another item
