Right, right. I know i said 5.2, but it's not really the motor I had the issue with. Shes yet to let me down, even had to chain tow a 1ton ford diesel with her(still haven't let my buddy live that one down!) Took it like a champ, didnt even hit 4k rpms(milkin it a bit)! Its the 1/2 ton i have to step up. Smacked them bump stops more then once!

Id expect the same for the 360(almost identical if im not mistaking). Are the V10's typically long lived motors?
I have 135K on mine at the moment. (one of the reasons I bought it......) But, others I looked at were north of 250K, and a few over 300K...... still original engine and trans..... (which was amazing.) Unfortunately, the high-mileage trucks were rotted out really bad.... (salt on the roads around here.....)

Then your question really should be: 2500 or 3500? And 3.55 or 4.10?

If your 5.2 has done well for you, look for a clean 2500 with the 5.9 (cheaper and more plentiful than V10 or CTD), do the necessary engine/driveline repairs including steering, add an overload spring or bags and get R done! Even better, find a 5spd!

And there is a fair bit more aftermarket support the the 5.9 engine.... Though, not as much as I would like.
