Hey, so I have access to a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT with a overhead information display (outside temp, direction, trip, etc.) located up in the cluster with the reading lights and glasses holder. I am curious to know if this console could be swapped to operate in my 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT. The 1500 truck may be scrapped in the near future so I was curious if this display could work in my everyday 2500 truck that I am fixing up.

 

I think you would also need the various sensors, whatever wiring you don't already have, and the high-line central timer module. All of which you could salvage from the 1500. As they are both the same year, I can't see any reason that it wouldn't work.
