Thanks and yes it is nice to be able to enjoy doing things again. Still trying to build up my stamina from what it had been. Being pretty much sedentary for 3 years I lost a lot of muscle & core strength.

Gov downsizing sent moral to hell in a handbasket.
As the age of political correctness came around the service got soft, and a lot of the true skilled work was outsourced.
I have friends that stayed in, some that did 20yrs retired then went back as civvie contractors... all have told me it just wasn’t the same since.

I know my pap (Marine Vietnam) says it went soft but I enjoyed Bootcamp. I thought it was like fat camp
