It's possible...... this IS one of it's failure modes..... Bear in mind, these trucks don't really like aftermarket sensors..... so, genuine mopar is the hot ticket. Either from your local dealer, or online somewhere.

Also I drove it down the interstate and back home it only has a slight like misfire jerking just for secon or two in overdrive when you let off or are going up a hill but motor runs perfect in every other gear and at idle. I will replace the crank sensor in the morning if you think this may cure my problems

It does not constantly do this in over drive it’s like a intermittent miss feeling but I know it’s the transmission acting up I unplugged the big plug on tranny that stands straight up and with it on my lift no weight on tires it still does it

Before you spend the big bucks.... How old are the plugs/wires/distributor cap/rotor? Dirty distributor caps can cause some interesting issues as well.

So much for that thought.

Cleaned the throttle body? (cheap and easy. I think the gasket is like two bucks.) Dirty IAC well may cause this too.... but, it doesn't discriminate between gears.

I cleaned it all when I tuned it up so at this point what are your recommendations I can mess with it and sometimes it just stops doing it for a few minutes but when it does it you know it you can feather the brake and accelerator and keep it running but a terrible miss and Blake smoke along with strong gas smell like it’s not even burning the fuel

That's running excessively rich..... I would look at the coolant temp sensor first.... if that appears OK, disconnect the front O2 sensor for a while, and see if the problem disappears. Might also check the little rubber elbow from the throttle body, to the map sensor.

I will do these things but keep in mind it only ever does this in reverse you put it in neutral or park and it immediately straightens up within 5 seconds
