Does anyone have a fix for broken ashtray pivots? I have a replacement ashtray for my '01 1500 but it doesn't seem to fit properly and the hinges in the dash are cracked, so it won't stay in. Pics would be great.

Replacing the core is not an option, so any help is appreciated.

 

Gonna have to try and fix the dash.......

 

What I really need is to see what the ash tray looks like open when properly installed and what the hinges look like intact. Can anyone help?
