Default 2001 Dodge Ram Truck 4X4 transfer case

2001 Dodge Ram Truck 4X4 transfer case sifter control linkage rod
I can find the rod no trouble but I can't find the part it connects to. It's on the transfer case it's self. The rod connector looks like a peace of flat metal with a round hole on one end and a oblong hole on the other.
Here is what it should look like

This is my peace here. As you can see it's cracked and keeps braking off. I was wanting to know the name of this peace.

Is that the part you need? Or are you looking for where it bolts on to the t-case? If you need one, junkyard is going to be your best bet. Likely need one from a 98 or newer truck.

Yes this is the part I need. This one keeps braking off. I weld it back and it brakes off. I made one that kind of works but could be better. I was mostly wanting to know what this thing is called because I can't find anything about this peace.

You can download a parts manual for your truck from the faq section here, (factory service manual as well.... always handy to have) and look up the part name, and number. Google search for the part number, and you might get lucky. Otherwise, junkyard.
