Old vans are pretty cheap around here, probably hard to get much out of it from a market value perspective. You can ask them what they think they would pay out on the vehicle if they were to see it as totaled. That said, you can argue the value of the vehicle with them after the fact. I helped a coworker do that on her totaled 4 year old vehicle. She did the research on comparable dealer prices, and got it.
