Hi all,

This came up at a local auction,

I have been trying to see if it is original or not.

The card underneath the hood does say "PCH" for the colour code.

However don't know about the bumper stickers which actually says Indianapolis on it please see photo attached.

Is this original please? Cant see any photos with same front bumper sticker.

Run the VIN here. That will tell you for sure.

 

If it is original it should have two color codes not just one. I have an original and the sticker under the hood says PCH for the primary paint and under it it has QCH secondary paint. If it doesn't have both it's a fake. Also it will have AGJ on the body tag for "Indy package". Looks like someone made one from a short bed that was painted PCH"brilliant blue". You can get everything you need to make one so it's not hard to do. The originals did not come with painted(white stripes) on the bumpers but a lot of people did it to complete the look(including mine). 150 of them where at the track when they came out, 2802 total production.

 

Did these have the 318, or 360?

 

Being a specila edition, I'm pretty sure they had the 360. (5.9 to you young whipper snappers!)
