Default Code :P0443 Help

My truck is showing the code P0443, I googled it and it said the the purge control valve for the EVAP might be bad. If that is the case is this a problem worth fixing? I’m not looking to keep this truck for very long and don’t want to spend money I don’t have to.

They do emissions testing where you are? If so, then you need to fix it. If they don't, you just have the annoying light. Keep in mind, any potential buyer is going to knock money off for that.

Purge control valve pulls the gas fumes from the tank, If you have an issue with the charcoal canister(blocked/clogged) you will build up pressure in the gas tank. Check the vac lines going to the valve, The vac line that come off the throttle body (front left) tends to get cracks in it.
