Default Value of 2000 Ram 1500

This is supposed to be a rust free florida truck. I don't know how many miles are on it. Something is wrong with the front axle. Looks like an ORE. I wish there was a picture of the RF corner. It's on its way to Wisconsin now, they're asking 3000 for it. Book values range from 2200- 4200. Obviously I'll go look at it before committing to buying it. What do you think it's worth? I still have that 2001 that was rolled over for parts.

Yep, off road edition. Even says so on the tailgate.

Value is going to depend on how many miles are on it. Looks like it has seen a fair bit of wear and tear though.... that's gonna reduce the value.

You think it's worth 3000?

The interior looks kinda beat...... How many miles on it??

Simply have that "Off Road" on the tailgate though, does bump the value up a bit.

I don't know the mileage, I only have pictures. That 2001 I bought has nice interior. I'm more interested in the rust free body. I love to find a body from a 2wd and fix them both.

The Off Road edition is essentially the 'holy grail' of the 1500's. Two inches taller, 4.10 gears from the factory, reinforced axles, skid plates, tow hooks, etc. The off road package was a LOT more than just pretty graphics. Just on that alone, (and the pretty much pristine body, aside from the major dent in the tailgate....) yeah, it's likely worth 3 grand. I see them in decent condition around here for almost 10 grand....... So, you could put a fair bit of money into it, and still be able to come out ahead on a sale. (if you flip it....)

We bought this to fix and sell. I had most of the parts here, so I had someone fix it for us. It rides and handles good.

We're looking for something to keep. The Envoy is nice, but feels to small after the accident. The pickup would be an improvement,. Our 95 is getting really rusty. Then we'd look for another Excursion. We spent a year and a half rebuilding the other one.

I'm going to try to buy it. They aren't planning on bringing it up to Wisconsin for a couple months. I'm not going to get excited until it's in our yard. I hope we end up with it.
