well in time this one will possibly be available. debating doing a cutout bumper for exhaust like the 4th gen trucks, but i also like Y or side exit exhaust so depends what i decide, exhaust is far down the line lol

well pulled the trigger on the springs valve guide seals and wide band o2 required for tuning guess we will put the cam in, wanted to do the headers and stuff too but decided lets see how she runs first then do the exhaust

One thing kinda bugging me with this project is the truck had a pretty noticeable stumble/hesitation under heavy throttle. Im hoping the intake pan will solve that, had no noticeable hissing from a vac leak, and the vac lines are surprisingly soft and bendable yet so i dont think thats the issue. I did the plugs and wires and just received the new coil. Would cam/crank sensors be a tune up kinda item or not? It had been sitting awhile so i topped it off with 91 gas hoping to get it perked up maybe didn't drive enough to clean out the system of bad gas

No the on cam and crank. I would look more towards throttle position sensor, map sensor, and/or IAC valve

Some data logging once you have it on the road wouldn't hurt.

Well new parts continue pouring in. might have got a little out of hand lol stuff showing up I forgot I ordered. so far waiting for install I have the top end gasket set, water pump, roller chain, valve spring, 13 of the 16 valve guide seals, wide band 02 gauge for tuning purposes, the cam obviously, carpet, headlights/fog lights, fender rust repair panels, driver seat cushion and new covers, probably a couple of other things i forgot about, still waiting on some parts to come in.

Took a stab at the seat cushion and covers last night to find much disappoint. The backs I was shipped are for a quad cab not a regular cab ( no built in seatbelt) partially my own fault and the seller both. I spaced on that issue when ordering and there was no indication of these not working on a regular cab or ordering option for a regular cab. I had the same luck with the new cushion not happy with the fitment of it at all when reviewing the list is does specifically mention does not fit regular cab. Not sure what would have changed on the bottom cushion? Due to my seat bases already being pretty rusty and my plan was to refinish them anyway. I found a set of front quad cab seats on craigslist's cheap that look much better shape then mine and better candidates hopefully for the seat covers and cushions. Hopefully they bolt in and line up. Im also onboard with having the integrated seatbelt in the seat as Im not sure how to put the plastic covers and seat belt adjustment back together correctly, I know they wont go back together the way they came apart

Pictures of the cushions/covers fitment

Well finally got my act in gear, got the new heater core in and the dash back together with no cracks! also started washing the floor and walls to start installing the sound mat when i figured out i didn't get the adhesive to install it so deciding if i want to order it and wait or just go without it

tried washing the dash up a little bit but she seems pretty dried up and crappy not sure if there's a good way to get it cleaned up and new looking or not
