Default Squeak in steering column anybody else have it?

2001 Dodge 2500, 5.9, 208, 000 miles, stock...squeak in steering column I cannot find...I can raise up on the steering wheel and it stops until I release it...push the shift lever down and it helps but doesn't completely stop it...I'm baffled...Tx for your reply
Also the upper part of the tilt moves as well but not much...steering wheel does not have slack side to side just up and down...

Probably the upper bushing (behind the wheel is bad)

If it is that you need a whole new steering column. Dodge never offered that as a part

Never have I found one that fit. I have tried. There is so a bearing behind it that tends to go bad

I did see a YouTube video where a guy replaced the bushing a bearing. Never gave part numbers. He said his local parts store cross matched the bearing and the bushing he said he bought. I have tried 4 bushings in another column and none of them fit.
If you do find out what works PLEASE post them here
