Default Looking for Used vehicle advice

Anybody here own a current generation Durango? If so do you like it? I'm looking at buying my mom a used car (200) or a 2015 Durango with the V6. Just looking for experiences. I own a Hellcat Durango but don't drive it much. Don't know much about the "new" pentastar

No experience with the Durango. The local Jeep dealership let me drive a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a few days while they had one of my vehicles. It was nice, I liked it, I was sure it was a V8 until I popped the hood and saw that it was the 3.6L Pentstar.

Can't comment on gas mileage. Only had it a few days, 6 years ago, and didn't drive enough to have to fill it up

My mom has a 2018 GT for almost a year and so far it has been great. She averages 18mpg in town and 22-24.5 highway, keep in mind our interstate is 75mph but most do 80mph. My future sister in law has a 14 Jeep GC and my aunt has a also has a 14 GC Summit. Both with the 3.6 and both average 2mpg less than the durango. The 3.6 had an update in 2018 that bumped the compression, high flow oil pumps, and lightened internals. Seems to have worked. My moms also has stop start and the 14s don't. It rides nice and the awd is decent in snow, the factory tires are garbage on ice and it handled it ok. She had a 2010 Traverse before that. Now that was getting old and up in miles (150k), high miles for bailout period engineering at GM. So I went with my parents test driving and my dad was set on an Enclave. Well we test drove an Enclave, Acadia Denali, Durango R/T, and sat in the GT one after the other on the same afternoon. My dad actually was getting cranky and irritated as he started to realize his GM's weren't as nice or comfortable and he actually told my mom to go above what they wanted to spend to get the GT. I almost had them convinced on the R/T but it had a bench second row and the GT had the optional buckets which was a must for them.

Avoid that last generation of 200 like the plague. I was at the dealership when they came out and were total piles of ****. Idk how many needed transmissions before they even hit the lot as well as finicky failure prone electronics electronics. Don't even get me start on the Fiat Imported Jeep imposters.................
