Just noticed today that my lower dash is cracking up badly. Does anyone know of anyone making the '94 - '97 lower dashes for the 2nd gen Ram trucks? I've got a brand new upper dash, but will need the lower unit soon.

 

I thought there was a company producing them now, but, they were like 1200 bucks...... Isn't there a thread about that around here somewhere??

 

I do recall that thread, but I think they were producing the later model dash and not yet doing the early model ('94 - '97) units to-date, but that may have changed.

 

Wouldn't hurt to ask 'em.

I know there were changes in the cluster, but, do those changes translate to the base dash as well???? Would be interesting to compare part numbers, but, won't be surprised if they don't match up.

 

I've sent DRT an inquiry as to whether or not they make the earlier model lower dash and I'm awaiting their reply. There are major differences in the lower dash setup between '94 - '97 and later years (UGH!)...

 

DRT replied to my inquiry for a '94 - '97 Dodge Ram lower dash unit. DRT is developing plans to make them, but does not have them available for sale yet.

 

Good News/Bad News..... Took quite some time for them to come out with their first version..... Hopefully, the second version won't take nearly so long.
