I got a 95',5.9 2wd, that i bought in Jan of this year, just ticked over 170,000 miles. Had to replace the tps, crank ps, timing chain, shocks(need new ones too, again),air cleaner(filthy), brakes (though havent finshed the back right). I think thats all. I love my truck even though some highschooler rearended it just a couple weeks ago , now i gotta fix that.

Default 304,000 and Still Going...

My year 2000 5.9L V8 gas 2500 is still going strong at 304,000+ on its original engine and transmission.

I've owned it 4 years and all it needed was upper and lower ball-joints on passenger side and a hub-bearing on driver side.

In March, I drove it 1000 miles from VA to MO and 1000 miles home, and it did it without a murmur.

It's a phenomenal machine, the best-engineered vehicle I've owned in 40 years of vehicle ownership.

I put the key in and it starts, and I drive it approx 500 miles per week every week.

Default miles

295,000 miles
1995 2500 white reg cab 4x4 5-speed 3.55 gears 35" mickey thompsons.
bought it from my friend who bought it new.
replaced, ball joints, smog stuff from plugged converter, fuel pump twice, harmonic balancer,Front and rear brakes a couple of times, clutch, Most recently new radiator, plugs wires cap/rotor a couple/few times. flowmater muffler, wheel bearing, axle u-joints, track bar, tir rod end, and the rear end just went out again... Typically a Ford guy, but love this truck...It is starting to show its age, paint flaking off on hood, cab. using some oil, rear main started leaking, blows blue on deceleration with a load. till saturday i drove this daily about 50 miles to work. I keep it running because i have no othe roptions at thi spoint and like to see th ereaction on peoples faces when i tell them how many miles i have on this unit.

Default Ram 1500

I have a '95 Ram 1500 with the Magnum 318 4wd.

125k and have only owned it for 3 months but have replaced the water pump, power steering pump and the serpentine belt. When I bought it in September it had just received a rebuilt transmission. I'm currently tackling a colder than normal heating issue as the engine gets up to normal operating temperature but the heat it blows is lukewarm at best. I'll get to that this weekend.

Look into the heater core. Could be clogged internally.

Right on, that was in the back of my mind but was kinda hoping it wasn't that! I'll check it out though.
