MN trucks can go the distance however, we suffer the effects from salt on our roads . Not just the bodies but underneath as well ie: brake lines, fuel lines etc One 97 has 266,000 & the other 206,000

Nice, I agree. Although in some cases, the factory actually used the best part (Spicer ujoints, Timken bearings, etc.)

Because of the “lifetime” (100,000mile) warranty?
Better parts upfront, less warranty costs.

Default 2001 5.2

Old girl got 181, 326 on her. She is an electrical nightmare, replaced front suspension, but in the 6 years I've had her has started and ran like an champ every single day. Plan on going to my great reward with her by my side.😂

02 3500 ho diesel dually w/most all the goodies bought in 05 w/97k now at 393K. Replaced usual, tires, brakes, filters, vp44, lift pump, 1 ujoint on front axel, 1 set injectors, belt and tension pulley, parking brake cables. still on original clutch. Needs paint job badly! Decided I want a newer truck so renovating with new radio, seat cover, bumpers, carpet in the works, paint job, tailgate, will have A/C fixed as has leak since new to me, dash cover installed. Max to load to date about 18K lbs.

Never had anything like death wobble on my truck. Long ago had a '50 cj3a with original bell crank, THAT had a REAL Death wobble.
