Your point being?

 

At least you guys HAVE dashes. Mine's gone. It was uncracked when I bought it in Feb, then about two months ago I backed out of my drive and heard the distinctive crack of my dash shattering. Then last month I had to replace my heater core and that's all she wrote. The entire surface of my dash is gone. My VIN plate is now in the glove box.

 

Do we really need to bring this back up again?

 

Dashes crack. Get on with your life.

I have a solution to the cracked dash issue.
Step 1: Invent a time machine.
Step 2: Go back to the year the truck was built and buy it.
Step 3: Live the last 12-13-14 etc... years over again with your truck making sure that there is always a sun visor in the windshield when the truck is parked and that there is always a towel on the dashboard while you're driving.
Step 4: Rub it in to every other Ram owner you see that your 12-13-14 etc... year old dashboard isn't cracked.

 

... so i just read this entire thread... i have 2 94s and no cracks... my opinion, 1. for those of you who are, stop whining ur a grownup... 2. smartin up, quit complaining about money problems, with the amout of people with cracked dashes one of u can start a co. that makes aftermarket dashes with a material that dosnt crack/fade/rip/... for all makes and models, so all you guys with cracks can have a new and improved dash...

 

The cracks get the 98-01 dashboards the worst.

 

my 01 ram is cracked and broken as well and Dodge told me it's out of warranty and they are not going to do anything about it. I personally think it's a safety concern.
