ok i had a 1/4 tank of 87 left and i put in half a tank of 91 . set it to the 91 tune.. the motor sounds like it has marbles in it past 3 grand. i really donjt want to be putting in 93 gas for 91 octain tune. so imma wait till it totally empty and fill up with 91. and hopefully it wont do it, the power is awesome just wish it wasnt doing that.
any you guys with the can tune have the same problems ?..

ya, he says i may have to run 93 with the 91 tune , but what about the 93 ? is that going to ping with 93 would i need higher grade for that too is it going to ping too ?
93 is alot of money i rather get 91 ,even thats hard to pay for lol, but if it work ill be happy !
so anyways, need to run out the tank with the 87,so i set it back onto 87 and been driving around ! 1st impression i can even say with the 87 it blows the superchips away. 1 was in 2nd gear and floored it went back into 1st and just took off like a bat outta hell, even got pushed back a bit i was like holy shi*t cant wait to try the 91 ! !
SCT does blow superchips outta the water, having torque management off is a huge diffrence, the 87 blows the superchips 91 tune outta the water ! ! thats why i really want the 91 tune to work properly lol, and 93 i prob wont even try i will prob break something lol
sold it to a guy on craigslist for 200 bucks meeting him tues, if he backs out ill let you know ?

ive used 93 octance with my SCT for well over a year, never once had a problem with pinging... the only negative side ive had with 93 octane is the .20cents extra per gallon than regular

have not tried 93 yet,tried 91 for a mile and it pinged so im using 87 till my tank is empty. i will say with torque management off on 87 is awesome, 87 tune puts 91 tune on superchips to shame. i cant wait to try 93... how do you like 93 to the 87 tune ?

honestly ive never tried the 87..or the 91... i plugged her in with the 93 as soon as i got it, and ive loved the performance so much, ive never changed it
