Simple question: How much higher is the 2500 compared to 1500
Did a search but couldn`t find the right terms with my limited english. How much higher is the 2500 compared to 1500, my guess is about 2.5 inches?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Most say about 2", but when I installed my 2" lift on my 1500, I was higher then any stock 2500 I would park next too, and also ones running bigger tires (but just barely). I would say it is less the 2", like 1.5". From the factory, it was probably 2", but they are sagged by now, so that is probably why a fresh 2" lift on my 1500 made me taller then a stock 2500.
I know that I am taller than stock 4wd 2500 ( I park next to one @ work)with no lift kit on mine, is there a reason behind you needing to know this?
Thanks for the great answers
I have a 1998 Dodge Ram Sport 4x4 5.9, I needed to know that because every 2500 ram I see on the street is notably higher than mine (about 2 inches but it is noticeable), mine is stock. I have a modified Land Rover Defender with a 7 inches kit, and that´s my ride for all days, thats why I see the 1500 too close to the street
I want to install a leveling kit to my truck but want to be the same or 1 inch higher than a 2500...
But in your case bamory is weird, how is your 1500 higher than a 2500 if it is stock?
