Dual exhausts
True duals or catback? Where I live, it's just as cheap to get a catback installed as it is to buy a kit and diy. True duals run about $800 installed with customer supplied headers. Also, if you're going for true duals, it would be worth it to pick up a set of long tubes. KRC says that they pick only 6 hp, but....... they pick up ~35 ft/lbs of TQ
i would just go to a muffler shop... it was 300 for a flowmaster with duals out that sides.. they also made it fit up close to the body because of my body lift.. if you just bought a kit off line and you had a body lift it'd look pretty stupid having it hang down

What 20dodgeram01 said. The shop that's gonna do my duals wanted $280 for a catback- Magnaflow included. I said no no no, I have a catback already-he interrupted- "Ooooooooh youwantrue duals". I said "hell yah".There are alot of cheap exhaust shops out there just don't get sucked in by Meineke or those types of places.
Well my mechanic does custom exhausts, but i just assumed the price would be close because my truck is pretty much stock. So it seemed like somthing like an American Thunder or similar kit would be a good choice. I don't ever plan on getting a body lift.
I have a customized exhaust, but however i originally bought a American Thunder Flowmaster 40 Series i believe, and it fit on my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 perfectly, and we didn't have to remove the spare. what i mean by customized, is that instead of the clamps its welded into place.
