For some reason, the inside passener door open handles on both doors on my 1999 quad dont work. Cant find a button and the Owners manual doesnt say anything (I have Electric locks from inside but key from out side, no auto)

Ideas

 

Sounds like chi;d safety locks are on, ope the door and look on the side towards the rear is the small switch in the engage position if so flip it.

 

Just checked over the whole door, No such switch

 

Its in the side of the door where the latch hits, they all should have them, most likely the problem..

 

Ok here is pictures of latches. Can find 0 safety switches.

I just went outside and tested the blue 1999 4x4 QC and the same thing... the side latch works, but the actual handle inside doesn't open the door... Perhaps because normally someone would be driving and open the QC door with the latch on the door not on the inside...??

It didn't have a child saftey switch either.

My driverts side doesnt work either, but the passenger side works fine. when I had the doorpanels off I noticed that they break really easily, the pin latches into a plastic piece on the handle, thats the part that broke. Might have to get new handles?

 

Oooh, I only tried the drivers... I'll have to try the passenger side to see... Hmmm...
