very nice. Im pritty set on doing a performance rebuild on my tranny and rebuilding my shortblock before i do anything bigger than say gears, throttle body, pcm. 180k is not very condusive for longevity as a dd and a weekend warrior. when i do rebuild the shortblock though, i saw a stroker kit that strokes out to a 390. I think that would be a very nice addition. it was only about 2500

lightning killer? dont those trucks come stock with 400+ hp? that setup would put you at about the hp of a stock hemi ram. they are rated for 345 hp at the crank.. so around 310 or 320 at the wheels

not quite. 380 horse 450 tq. figguring on 25% drivetrain loss (which is standard for autos) your looking at approx 400 crank horse. Now with the addition of gears, forget about the lightning. Put a 75 shot ontop of that, and forget about ls1s. unfortunately, im talking about a modded to the max truck vs stock vehicles . Oh well, such is life.
