Default CB antenna mounting

Hey all,

I searched but didn't see too much information about mounting a CB antenna. Where are you mounting yours? What kind of antenna you using?

Thanks

I have dual 4' fiberglass antenna's mounted on each side of the tool box. On the front of it, between the cab and tool box. Works fine, little high SWR since only about 1/2 the antenna is completely above the cab but its not up to 3 or anything.

you could put them under the hood and then through the firewall but i would reccomend a new mounting location... is there a particular reason you have them on your mirrors?

you could make a hole and then caulk around it if you wanted to
