Default No power

My 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Does not have the power that it should have. Especially on the highway, i can't keep it at cruising speeds. I even downsized to 29 inch tires! Anybody have any ideas? Also my motor is good, only 70,000 miles

No power at all or accelerating on highway?
I had the same problem trying to speed up on highway or starting form a stop light, would have to mash the pedal.
It was a clogged cat on mine.

Take it in to a shop and have them hook it up to a computer, maybe it's a bad sensor. Is your check engine light on?

check you fuel pressure, make sure it's at 49psi or so, the spec is 49psi +/- 5 IIRC, if your at 44 or below, it could explain your power loss. make sure you test it under load as well (drive it with the guage on).
