Default Confused about O2 Sensor Replacement!

Hey Kids,
I'm new to the forum and I've read a lot of stuff on here about O2 sensors. My question is which one(s) do I replace? I'm confused about the whole rightside/leftside and upstream/downstream thing. Obviously I'm no expert at this stuff. Just wanna know how many and which ones. Hoping it will help with throttle response, surging, etc. And I've already ordered a new tp sensor (just havent installed yet).

Thanks

The left and right are as you sit in the drivers seat. As I understand it, some have a sensor on each side just beyond the exhaust manifolds, and some only have one on the pass. side. Upstrem and downstream is refering to the location of the sensor in relation to the cat converter. hope this helps a little.

More than likely, you only have two, one right before the CAT and one after. If you don't see one right before the CAT, look on the pipes as described above.
