assuming all the mechanical stuff is straight on the truck.

 

Not to rain on your parade but in the shot of the interior it looks like the check engine light is on. Have you seen the truck in-person?

doesnt seem like a bad deal but they are expecting you to try and talk the price down look up the trade in value on kellyblue bookand its likely they paid a little less then that and try and offer them a price around there.

 

You are correct, it is on. But I would have them correct that condition. I might end up missing out on this one, I thought I had a buyer on the line for my car but that didn't turn out to be the case. I have to sell the car first. . .

As long as I am waiting to sell my car, I started looking around again. Wondering if you guys like this one better. It's a 99 short box with the 5.2, has 11k less miles than the other one and they are asking $7995. It has a moderately size dent in the driver door, don't know if you can make it out in the pics or not. Is either the 5.9 or the 5.2 more recommended?

I would have guessed the long bed truck with the SLT&5.9 would be worth more, even with the 11k more miles.
except in this case, I do know that once you get over 90k miles your bank wont be as happy to finance.

Also personally I wanted the short bed standard cab.

 

They are equipped pretty much the same. The blue one sure is a nice looking truck. I don't have to worry about the bank, once I sell my car I will be paying cash for the truck.
