Default Front wheel bearing cover/cap

I pulled the front wheels off my truck for the first time today and I didn'tsee bearing covers/caps like i have on my Dakota. I can probably get some but just wondering if all Rams come from the factory with them?

Default RE: Front wheel bearing cover/cap

I saw a 2wd Ram in a parking lot with aftermarket wheels and no center caps. It didn't have any front wheel bearing covers/caps. I did some internet searches and couldn't find any.

does anyone know where I can get front wheel bearing covers/caps?

On my 2wd 95 Dakota the brake rotor and hub are the same piece and there is a cap that coversthe big nut used to adjust the bearing play. On my 2wd 01 Ram the hub and rotor are separate but there is still a big nut on the end of the spindle which is exposed to dirt and water. It seems like there should be a cap like on my Dakota.

if its a 2 peice the nut just sits out in the open. the hub is the bearing, so its internal and u must replace the hub unit if it ever makes noise

the bearings are not servicable
