Just purchased another Dodge 1500. Had to replace the tranny and water pump....

Did that and it runs like a champ !!

Still having a problem with the SO, ABS and Brake combo....speedsensor was replaced with the trannyand still no change...

Anyone have any other suggestions ??

Can anyone tell me where the speedsensor wires feed into the PCM ??

I think there is possibly a break in the wiring....

I had the same problem.. If both your ABS and BRAKE light are on, and your speedometer is eratic and doesn't register until 20+ mph, it is the speed sensor located on top of your rear differential causing the problem. only about $35 if you purchase and do it yourself. If you don't replace it, the speedometer will continue to get worse and eventually quit!!

I don't believe the speed sensor in the transmission has any effect onthe ABS, BRAKE light nor the speedometer....

 

I replaced the rear speed sensor....no luck !!

Anyone have any other suggestions - this really sucks !!

Get a scanner and pull out your stored codes, All codes.Engine, ABS, and cluster . once you are the codes you can post it or PM me. And I'll try to help you.
