Default keep losing oil pressure 2001 ram 1500

I've got a 2001 dodge ram 5.2 liter that keeps losing oil pressure. I replaced the oild pump a few weeks ago , I noticed there was alot of sludge in hte oil pan. I cleaned it all out , it ran good for about 200 miles. Now I'm losing oil pressure. Anybody know what the problem could be?

get yourself some bottles of engine cleaner..preferablly the ones that you can dump in and drive withthem in...then do an oil change like normal and put one more bottle in to clean out the system again while you drive...after that use 1 qt of lucas or marvel with your oil change and you may need to go up to a thicker oil...i have to run 10w40 along with an additive

The sludge may have work its way into the oil passages, You can try the engine cleaner and also try ATF, and drain the oil after 20 miles. If you try the ATF use 2 qts.

Kerosene works just as well and is cheaper. You don't want to run ATF through the oil passages.

Before anybody had developed engine cleaner, ATF was the standard product everybody used. It has a nice high detergent quality and sufficient lubrication to prevent engine damage. Of course you can't run it inplace of oil, just temporarily to allow the detergent in the fluid to do it's job.

Talk to any old school mechanic and they will tell you the same thing.
