Default thermo and tranny issues?

When i did my plenum i replaced my tstat with a 180 deg stat. Obviously it runsmuch cooler, but idk if it runs too cool. Usuially i have an issue with my trans having a delayed shift from 2-3 when its cold, since the truck is consistantly cold iv been noticing that the slip is more pronounced. idk if the coolant being cooler has any effect on the transmission fluid being cooler. I would assume it wouldnt. So that brings me to my second question, are there any adjustments i should have made when i put everything back together or possibly forgot to put back together that would have bearing on the trans slip issue? It seems to be too coincidental to be starting to give me problems right after i dug down so far. (the kickdown cable is attached)

If you have more than 60k on the trans, Put on seal kit in the trans.

TV cable? Is it adjusted properly? The engine/rad temp has an effect on trans temprature, the tranny fluid runs through the radiator for cooling on many vehicles. I'm not sure if your truck has a separate tranny cooler but I assume from the model it doesn't?
