360sport01 is correct. No seatbelt = No Airbags. I've seen it on several accidents, if you need confirmation, call your Dodge dealer.

 

I have had two front end collisions with two different rams. One was dead center of the front end and the other was on the passenger side front. Air bags did not deploy either time. BTW, neither accident was my fault.

 

there are quite a few cases where the airbags didn't deploy in a frontal crash. go to this link and it gives you complaints, recalls, and tsb reports for any vehicle.

 

after i read this i went out and got a screw stuck in my engine then my friend crashed his car going 130 into a telepole, the car rolled over, slip on the roof and caught fire...it was a big mess...he is still in the hospital and my other friend who had his seatbelt walked away and pulled my friends scott body outta the car...and then the cops started hittin my friend alex who was the passenger because they thought he was the driver who was runnin

To chime in, I googled Dodge Ram airbag failure and came across your blog. Reason for the search is that on Friday night (19OCT2007), I totalled my 2007 Dodge Ram Quad Cab....rolled it 4 times, speed at onset of accident was between 65-70, and not one airbag went off. Entire front end was demolished, they couldn't even see the front liscense plate because everything above it was crushed over it....any input as to why or where to look as to why would be greatly appreciated. e-mail is timothy.a.casteel@us.army.mil
